Regular price
$6.25
Students will analyze ratios and proportional relationships and discover that the relationships are multiplicative rather than additive. Students will recognize that ratios, unlike fractions, can involve both part-part and part-whole comparisons. They will generate equivalent ratios by partitioning and iterating composed units, use a variety of representations to respond to a problem situation, and weigh the advantages and disadvantages of such representations.
Through engaging in the lessons in this lesson set, students will:
- represent, analyze, and look for patterns or relationships;
- make sense of concepts; and
- develop, support, and defend claims and arguments.
